dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to analyze digital media and its impact on audience reception in the Quevedo canton, establishing that digital media have evolved over the years and have caused the majority of people to transform their way to inform yourself faster and more efficiently, since you can do it from any mobile device with an internet connection. For the development, the quantitative method was applied since surveys were carried out with 384 inhabitants of the Quevedo canton where we were able to know their opinions about the transformation that digital media has caused, reaching the conclusion that the majority of these inhabitants do not is guaranteed in the information provided by digital media, this circumstance is alarming, given that it can have a detrimental influence on the formation of public opinion and citizen participation.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los medios de comunicación digitales y su impacto en la recepción de audiencia en el cantón Quevedo, estableciendo que los medios digitales han ido evolucionando con el pasar de los años y ha hecho que la mayoría de las personas transformen su manera de poder informarse más rápida y eficiente, ya que pueden hacerlo desde cualquier dispositivo móvil con conexión a internet. Para el desarrollo se aplicó el método cuantitativo ya que se realizó encuestas a 386 habitantes del cantón Quevedo donde pudimos conocer sus opiniones acerca de la transformación que han ocasionado los medios de comunicación digitales , llegando a la conclusión que la mayor parte de estos habitantes no confían en la información proporcionada de los medios de comunicación digitales, esta circunstancia es alarmante, dado que puede influir de manera perjudicial en la formación de la opinión pública y en la participación de los ciudadanos.es_ES
