ESTRATEGIAS DE COMUNICACIÓN PARA LA PREVENCIÓN DE LA VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO EN LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE BABAHOYO EXTENSIÓN QUEVEDO.

| dc.description | In Ecuador, gender violence is a problem that goes beyond the social, because even today a macho culture and prohibitions are promoted towards vulnerable groups, making invisible the opinions and rights such as education, social participation, labor, among others. This research aims to establish communication strategies for the prevention of gender violence at the Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, Quevedo extension, to describe the assistance programs and psychological support provided by the university; the technique of the random interview was applied where a random sample of staff was taken from teachers, university authorities and administrative staff to whom a simple questionnaire was applied; Of the people interviewed, 100% agreed that there have been no acts of violence within the institution; they also mentioned that the Departamento de Bienestar Universitario (DBU) is constantly being renewed to improve services to students, ensuring better psychological health and improving their social relations, which is reflected in academic performance. The present study is presented as a gateway to different types of research related to social violence and the necessary actions for its early detection, avoiding academic and behavioral problems. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el Ecuador la violencia de género una problemática que va más allá de lo social, pues aún hoy en día se promueven una cultura machista y de prohibiciones hacia los grupos vulnerables, invisibilizando las opiniones y los derechos como a la educación, participación social, laboral entre otros. La presente investigación tiene por objetivo establecer estrategias de comunicación para la prevención de la violencia de género en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, extensión Quevedo, para describir los programas de ayuda y acompañamiento psicológico que nos brinda la universidad; se aplicó la técnica de la entrevista al azar donde se tomó una muestra de personal aleatorio entre docentes, autoridades de la universidad y personal administrativo a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario simple; de las personas entrevistadas el 100% concuerda con que no se han presentado actos de violencia dentro de la institución; asimismo, mencionan que el Departamento de Bienestar Universitario (DBU) se encuentra en constante renovación para mejorar los servicios a los estudiantes asegurando una mejor salud psicológica y mejorando sus relaciones sociales lo que se ve reflejado en el rendimiento académico. El presente estudio se presenta como una puerta hacia diferentes tipos de investigaciones relacionadas como la violencia social y el accionar necesario para su detección temprana, evitando problemas académicos y de conducta. | es_ES |
