| dc.description | The world of technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, with it the ease of being deceived or manipulated with these new technologies. Deepfakes are one of the new advances in artificial intelligence. (AI), and this allows the creation of manipulated videos, audios or images found on digital platforms or websites, and how these can influence people's public opinion. With the emergence of new technologies, it means being at the forefront and having the knowledge to detect deepfakes. In the political sphere, this issue is of great relevance because politicians like Barack Obama and Donald Trump, who have been victims of these technologies, have activated some alerts. On the other hand, the manipulated video of a public figure of great importance, political leaders, could weaken the balance in the electoral results, act as a catalyst in a revolt or have a relevant impact. The topic raised shows that deepfakes influence the opinions of people who participate in electoral processes in addition to the lack of knowledge of the term and possible solutions to improve this aspect. There are tools for creating deepfakes and this makes the easy use of these technologies more likely, but there are also technologies for their detection. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El mundo de la tecnología avanza a pasos agigantados, con ellos la facilidad de ser engañados o manipulados con etas nuevas tecnologías. los Deepfake son una de los nuevos avances de la inteligencia artificial. (IA), y esto permite la creación de videos audios o imágenes manipulados que se encuentran en plataformas digitales o sitios web, y como estas pueden llegar a influir en la opinión pública de las personas. Con el surgimiento de nuevas tecnologías implica estar a la vanguardia y tener el conocimiento para la detección de los deepfake, en el ámbito político este tema tiene gran relevancia por que políticos como Barack Obama, Donald Trump quienes han sido víctimas de estas tecnologías activado algunas alertas. Por otro lado, el vídeo manipulado de una figura pública de gran importancia mandatarios políticos, líderes, podrían debilitar la balanza en los resultados electorales, actuar como catalizador en una revuelta o tener un impacto relevante. En el tema planteado evidencio los deepfake influyen en la opinión de las personas que participan en procesos electorales además la falta de conocimiento del término y posibles soluciones para mejorar este aspecto. Existen herramientas para la creación de los deepfake y esto hace que sea más probable la fácil utilización de estas tecnologías, pero también existen tecnologías para su detección. | es_ES |
