This research analyses the impact of the production of digital radio content on the preservation and promotion of Quevedo's cultural identity. In a context where the digitalisation of the media has transformed the way in which information is consumed, it is essential to assess whether these contents contribute to strengthening the local cultural identity or, on the contrary, have allowed the adoption of foreign trends that displace indigenous traditions and customs. To achieve this objective, a mixed-approach methodology was used, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques. Surveys were applied to the Quevedo population to find out their consumption habits of digital radio content and their perception of the relationship between these and cultural identity. The results obtained showed that, although digital radio maintains a high demand, much of its content prioritises entertainment and global trends, leaving the dissemination of local cultural elements in the background. A significant percentage of respondents consider that cultural identity is being displaced and that it is necessary to implement strategies to strengthen its presence in digital media. Likewise, an interest was identified on the part of the audience in programs that integrate aspects of Quevedo's history, gastronomy, music and traditions. It is concluded that the production of digital radio content represents a key opportunity for the preservation of Quevedo's cultural identity, provided that innovative and attractive strategies are developed that allow for a balance between entertainment and cultural diffusion, thus guaranteeing its transmission to future generations.es_ES
