dc.description | This research is focused on dance therapy as an alternative to improve physical development in women aged 20 to 30 years at the "La Teresa" facility. Dance therapy is centered on the combination of dance sections with aerobic exercises made up of rhythmic movement with physical activity to promote health and general well-being. It is characterized by performing dynamic choreographies that work on respiratory control, cardiovascular endurance and muscle strengthening. Methodology: A quantitative approach was used to obtain an understanding of the phenomenon under study. A descriptive, exploratory, documentary, field type of research and a non-experimental design were applied that allows to visualize and measure the impact of dance therapy. On the other hand, the population of the work is composed of 200 inhabitants of the "La Teresa" facility. A sample of 31 women aged 20 to 30 years was used. Results: A 10-item survey was applied to women aged 20 to 30 years about the impact of dance therapy. Where it is determined that the woman has no knowledge about dance therapy. On the other hand, a physical test was applied to evaluate the physical development of women aged 20 to 30 years of the "La Teresa" facility. It is made up of 4 items. Where it is determined that they have physical problems in aerobic endurance, flexibility, speed and muscle strength. Conclusion: The proposal of the dance therapy program as an alternative for improving physical development is specifically adapted to the needs of women aged 20 to 30 years of the "La Teresa" facility. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
