dc.description | The present investigation refers to a program of methodological alternatives for the improvement of physical condition in first-year high school students of the Babahoyo Educational Unit. Methodological alternatives represent an essential component in the teaching-learning process in students given their main objective is to promote teaching methods in an organized and systematic way to carry out the teaching process in students. These methods will help teachers plan. how to transmit knowledge, skills, values and how to integrate students in the learning process. Methodology: Mixed approach with both qualitative and quantitative combinations, exploratory, descriptive research and non-experimental design. Results: It was evident that Physical Education teachers do not use innovative methodological alternatives. With this, 57.1% of the first-year students of parallel high school “A” of the Babahoyo Educational Unit have poor physical condition and 32.1% of the students have insufficient performance. Conclusion: The program of methodological alternatives is essential for improving the physical condition of first-year high school students at the Babahoyo Educational Unit. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación referente a un programa de alternativas metodológicas para el mejoramiento de la condición física en los estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo. Las alternativas metodológicas representan un componente esencial en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en los estudiantes dado su objetivo principal es promover métodos de enseñanza de forma organizada y sistemáticas para llevar a cabo el proceso de enseña en los estudiantes estos métodos ayudarán a los docentes a planificar cómo trasmitir conocimientos, habilidades, valores y cómo integrar a los estudiantes en el proceso de aprendizaje. Metodología: Enfoque mixto con combinaciones tanto cualitativas y cuantitativas, investigación exploratoria, descriptiva y diseño no experimental. Resultados: Se evidencio que los docentes de Educación Física no utilizan alternativas metodológicas innovadoras. Con ello, el 57.1% de los estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato paralelo “A” de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo, presentan una condición física deficiente y el 32.1% de los estudiantes presentan un desempeño insuficiente. Conclusión: El programa de alternativas metodológicas es fundamental para el mejoramiento de la condición física en los estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo. | es_ES |
