dc.description | The present research project seeks to promote the development of gross motor skills since it is important for the comprehensive training of students.
The importance of the development of gross motor skills for the physical and cognitive health of children and interaction with the environment was highlighted. Globally, children's physical activity is decreasing due to factors such as technology and lack of time. In Ecuador, despite the development of education, there are still gaps in the teaching of physical education, especially in rural areas.
In the Emigdio Esparza Educational Unit, it is identified as a special case where students have deficits in the development of gross motor skills. It is clear that specific practice programs must be implemented to develop students' motor skills.
The main objective is to create an exercise program adapted to the needs of basic general education students at the “Emigdio Esparza Moreno” Educational Unit to improve their gross motor skills. The program is expected to improve students' coordination, balance, and academic performance. The purpose is to provide teachers with tools to improve their teaching practice in physical education. It is expected that the implementation of the program will help improve the quality of education in the institution. The importance of gross motor skills in child development is determined and explained. In addition, different types of exercises and their relationship with gross motor development are presented.
A qualitative approach will be used to explore topics more deeply and understand the experiences of students and teachers. The existing situation will be observed without manipulating the variables. Interviews, surveys and a literature review will be used. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación busca promover el desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa puesto que es importante para la formación integral de los estudiantes.
Se destacó la importancia del desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa para la salud física y cognitiva de los niños y la interacción con el medio ambiente. A nivel mundial, la actividad física infantil está disminuyendo debido a factores como la tecnología y la falta de tiempo. En Ecuador, a pesar del desarrollo de la educación, aún existen vacíos en la enseñanza de la educación física, especialmente en las zonas rurales.
En la Unidad Educativa Emigdio Esparza se identifica como un caso especial donde los estudiantes presentan déficits en el desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa. Está claro que se deben implementar programas de práctica específicos para desarrollar las habilidades motoras de los estudiantes.
El objetivo principal es crear un programa de ejercicios adaptado a las necesidades de los estudiantes de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa “Emigdio Esparza Moreno” para mejorar su motricidad gruesa. Se espera que el programa mejore la coordinación, el equilibrio y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. El propósito es brindar a los docentes herramientas para mejorar su práctica docente en educación física. Se espera que la implementación del programa ayude a mejorar la calidad de la educación en la institución. Se determina y explica la importancia de la motricidad gruesa en el desarrollo infantil. Además, se presentan diferentes tipos de ejercicios y su relación con el desarrollo motor grueso.
Se utilizará un enfoque cualitativo para explorar temas más profundamente y comprender las experiencias de estudiantes y profesores. Se observará la situación existente sin manipular las variables. Se utilizarán entrevistas, encuestas y revisión bibliográfica. | es_ES |
