The research Determination of the presence of Ancylostoma caninum by means of stool analysis in the "La Tranca" enclosure of the Pimocha parish, City of Babahoyo.Ancylostomiasis in canines causes an absence of health due to symptoms and signs such as diarrhea, frequent vomiting, lethargy and severe anemia, leading many dogs to critical conditions with a danger of mortality. This disease, being a zoonosis, compromises the good health of the community in general.A total of 40 dogs were sampled and selected through random and stratified sampling, representing 10% of the canine population studied. Sex and age indicators were marked in order to identify which group has the greatest infestation of this parasite. The stool examination was performed using the flotation technique where the feces were diluted with a solution with a higher density allowing the observation of the eggs or larvae in flotation. A slide and object cover was optimally processed for observation under a telescope, determining the existence or not, of of Ancylostomiasis by Ancylostoma caninum. Results were obtained from 2 canines carrying Ancylostoma caninum and 38 canines free of this parasite.es_ES
