The present investigation sought to determine experimentally, quantitatively, descriptively and transversally a high or low presence of gastrointestinal parasites that disrupt the well-being of canine pets in the Patricia Pilar parish of Buena Fe canton, Los Ríos province; subsequently analyzing their impact on public health in how a zoonosis affects by not carrying out a correct disposal of organic waste in the squares and houses of the different places that make up this locality. To obtain the results, it was randomly mobilized to different neighborhoods and sectors of the commune for canine coprological collection. The tools used for the coproparasitic analysis was by the flotation technique (Na chloride) and once the estimated total number of 60 samples was obtained, they were transported refrigerated to the city of Babahoyo. Then they were transported to the laboratory of the Veterinary Medicine career for their respective coprological processing of 3 repetitions for each sample, where an incidence of less than 15% was determined, providing us with a total of 7% of parasitic eggs and/ or larvae, which therefore did not represent a high presence of parasitosis as it was not greater than 15% stigmatized in this research. In the statistical analysis, Chi squared and Excel statistical graphs were used for its corroboration and not to generate any contradiction to it. As a result of having obtained the results, an analysis was made of their impact on local public health, since they are a factor of concern for entities that cover the health area.es_ES
