dc.descriptionThe effect of ethylene on the induction of resistance is a method that promises a new control of pests and diseases by making the plant resistant to attacks by these agents. The following research work is carried out, so it is of utmost importance to collect information on the effects of ethylene on the induction of plant resistance. The purpose of this work is to characterize the effect of ethylene on induction in plants in the Los Ríos region. The results showed that ethylene increased antibody production and reduced the severity of the disease. They also demonstrated that the application of ethylene must be carried out very carefully and always taking into account the appropriate concentrations for each plant. In this research study, we have investigated successful cases to induce greater antibody production and reduce disease severity compared to common controls. Furthermore, a higher expression of defense genes was observed in plants treated with ethylene. In conclusion, the study demonstrated that ethylene can induce resistance in plants by activating natural defense mechanisms. We met plants that had a favorable response in the induction of ethylene for plant resistance, and thus know the benefits it provides in plants.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl efecto del etileno en la inducción de resistencia es un método que promete un nuevo control de plagas y enfermedades al hacer que la planta sea resistente a los ataques de estos agentes. Se realiza el siguiente trabajo de investigación por lo que es de suma importancia recopilar información sobre los efectos del etileno en la inducción de resistencia de las plantas. El propósito de este trabajo es caracterizar el efecto del etileno sobre la inducción en plantas de la región de Los Ríos. Los resultados mostraron que el etileno aumentó la producción de anticuerpos y redujo la gravedad de la enfermedad. También demostraron que la aplicación de etileno debe realizarse con mucho cuidado y siempre teniendo en cuenta las concentraciones adecuadas para cada planta. En este estudio de investigación, hemos investigado casos exitosos para inducir una mayor producción de anticuerpos y reducir la gravedad de la enfermedad en comparación con los controles comunes. Además, se observó una mayor expresión de genes de defensa en plantas tratadas con etileno. En conclusión, el estudio demostró que el etileno puede inducir resistencia en las plantas activando mecanismos de defensa naturales. Conocimos plantas que tuvieron una respuesta favorable en la inducción de etileno para la resistencia vegetal, y así conocer los beneficios que brinda en las plantas.es_ES
