dc.description | The study on artificial intelligence identifies the effects of AI on the operational efficiency of technical support for Ecuador's information technology industries. Problems such as overloaded response times and lack of formal education for employees in particular suggest that AI is one of the key business solutions. Chatbots, process automation and predictive analytics have the potential to reduce costs, improve service quality and optimize resource management. Despite its implementation, artificial intelligence faces challenges such as lack of infrastructure and high upfront costs. and resistance to change. The study highlights the need for educational programs and collaboration between the public and private sectors to encourage its adoption. In this sense the results, the majority of respondents considered as an AI of valuable in benefiting the business of Ecuadorian companies. In that way, for the benefit of the competence of companies in Ecuador, intelligent systems should be implemented in customer service, automate repetitive tasks and improve cybersecurity to support a more effective transformation of the sector. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El estudio sobre la inteligencia artificial identifica los efectos de la IA en la eficiencia operativa del soporte técnico para las industrias de tecnologías de la información de Ecuador. Los problemas como los tiempos de respuesta recargados y la falta de educación formal para los empleados en particular sugieren que la IA es una de las soluciones comerciales clave. Los chatbots, la automatización de procesos y el análisis predictivo tienen el potencial de reducir costes, mejorar la calidad del servicio y optimizar la gestión de recursos. A pesar de su implementación, la inteligencia artificial se enfrenta a retos como la falta de infraestructura y los elevados costes iniciales. y la resistencia al cambio. El estudio subraya la necesidad de programas educativos y de colaboración entre los sectores público y privado para fomentar su adopción. En esto sentido los resultados, la mayoría de los encuestados considera como una IA de valiosa en el beneficio del negocio de las empresas ecuatorianas.
