dc.description | Proprioception is a term that refers to the sense that our body has to maintain balance and neuromuscular control of the body, it is the ability of our brain to know what is the ability of our body to position itself correctly, so it has been given the name of sixth sense. This is how proprioceptive exercises propose a simple and accessible solution to injuries present at ligament level, providing a sense of balance and stability and in turn muscle strengthening. Anterior cruciate ligament injuries can be a complete nuisance for high-performance athletes, causing them to see limitations to perform their sports activities, and even causing them to be dismissed from them, which is why this research proposes an approachable solution to this problem using simple training techniques, demonstrating the important work of physiotherapy in the prevention and recovery of such injuries specifically in athletes who come to the Sports Federation of Los Rios. Methods such as cross-sectional research were used to achieve an effective evaluation of the participants, we also used as a data collection instrument a questionnaire composed of 10 questions, we had a study population of 50 athletes with a total sample of 40. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
