The role of the teacher with respect to virtual libraries must be to generate conflicts that make their students have to investigate any medium, whether electronic or printed, generate doubts about the search results so that there is greater consultation of sources. of information, make him search, select, structure, evaluate and restructure the information obtained, to make him a trainer of his own knowledge. dc.description.abstractEl trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en la Unidad Educativa “Diez de Agosto” de la Provincia de Los Ríos, Cantón Montalvo, porque mediante visitas previas se observó el poco conocimiento por parte de estudiantes y docentes sobre las tecnologías de información y comunicación que cada vez están más presentes en la sociedad y en el ámbito educativo, por eso importante que conozcan los beneficios al trabajar con bibliotecas virtuales. Las bibliotecas virtuales surgen como necesidad de reunir y ordenar bibliografía para su consulta, La biblioteca no es el espacio en si donde se encuentran los documentos sino desde mi punto de vista son los documentos los que hacen o dan vida a la biblioteca. Con los adelantos tecnológicos y una evolución en el uso de la información fue necesario porque así lo demandaba la sociedad cambiante un giro al manejo de los textos cambiando de impresos a digitales El papel del docente con respecto a las bibliotecas virtuales debe de ser de generador de conflictos que haga que sus estudiantes tengan que indagar en cualquier medio ya sea electrónico o impreso, generar dudas sobre los resultados de la búsqueda para que exista una mayor consulta de fuentes de información, hacer que busque, seleccione, estructure, evalué y reestructure la información obtenida, para hacerlo formador de su propio conocimiento, por su grandes beneficios se realizó una guía virtual para poder comprender mejor el aporte de las bibliotecas virtuales en la enseñanza.es_ES
