dc.descriptionThe study "Family Stress and Child Development of Students from Aurora Estrada and Ayala Educational Unit in Babahoyo Canton" investigates how family stress influences the cognitive, communicative, and motor development of children. Family stress can negatively impact children's well-being, affecting academic performance and healthy relationships. The main objective is to identify these effects to implement intervention and support strategies in both school and family settings, thereby improving students' emotional, social, and academic well-being. The research will focus on approximately 100 individuals, including early childhood students, the educational community, and parents from Aurora Estrada and Ayala Educational Unit in Babahoyo Canton. Convenience sampling will be used with a total sample of 60 individuals per assessment instrument, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted to gather detailed perceptions from parents and caregivers regarding family stress and child development. Additionally, direct observation of children's behavior and skills in the school environment will take place. Instruments will include structured surveys, the Battelle Developmental Inventory to assess cognitive, communicative, and motor areas, and developmental milestones checklists to monitor acquired skills across different growth stages.es_ES

El estrés familiar puede impactar negativamente en el bienestar infantil, afectando el rendimiento académico y las relaciones saludables. El objetivo principal es identificar estos efectos para implementar estrategias de intervención y apoyo tanto en el entorno escolar como familiar, mejorando así el bienestar emocional, social y académico de los estudiantes. La investigación se centrará en aproximadamente 100 personas, incluyendo estudiantes de nivel inicial, la comunidad educativa y padres de familia de la Unidad Educativa Aurora Estrada y Ayala del Cantón Babahoyo. Se utilizará un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia con una muestra total de 60 personas por instrumento de evaluación, asegurando un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%.
