dc.descriptionThis research was conducted with the aim of determining the impact of the "Ruta del Rio" project in Quevedo on employment generation in the year 2024. The population considered for this study consisted of all business owners located in the Ruta del Río area in Quevedo, totaling 25 people. A questionnaire with 11 questions was designed in Google Forms and used as the instrument for the survey application. The results revealed that the demographic analysis shows that most of the business owners along the Ruta del Río are young adults, predominantly in the 30 to 40 age group. The most common commercial activities include entertainment, food services, and recreation, highlighting a diverse range of offerings that attract different segments of the population. Entertainment activities are the most prevalent among the surveyed businesses, followed by food service and recreation establishments. This diversification indicates an effective strategy to attract and retain a diverse clientele, which is crucial for economic success in a dynamic tourist environment like the Ruta del Río. Perceptions of tourism promotion are mixed, with a majority believing that current initiatives could be improved. To promote sustainable tourism development, it is recommended to implement strategies that increase the visibility of businesses, take advantage of local tourism events and activities, and improve basic infrastructure to mitigate the identified challenges.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de determinar el impacto del proyecto Ruta del Rio del cantón Quevedo en la generación de empleo, año 2024. Para ello, se consideró como población al total de propietarios de negocios ubicados en el sector Ruta del Río del cantón Quevedo, mismos que ascienden a 25 personas. Para la aplicación de la encuesta, se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario de 11 preguntas, mismas que se diseñaron en Google Forms. Los resultados obtenidos pusieron en evidencia que, el análisis demográfico revela que la mayoría de los propietarios de locales comerciales en la Ruta del Río son adultos jóvenes, predominantemente del grupo de edad de 30 a 40 años. Las actividades comerciales más comunes incluyen entretenimiento, alimentación y recreación, destacando una diversidad de oferta que atrae a diferentes segmentos de la población. Las actividades de entretenimiento son las más prevalentes entre los locales comerciales encuestados, seguidas por los establecimientos de alimentación y recreación. Esta diversificación indica una estrategia efectiva para captar y retener a una clientela diversa, crucial para el éxito económico en un entorno turístico dinámico como la Ruta del Río. Las percepciones sobre la promoción turística son mixtas, con una mayoría que considera que las iniciativas actuales podrían mejorar. Para fomentar un desarrollo turístico sostenible, se recomienda implementar estrategias que aumenten la visibilidad de los locales comerciales, aprovechen eventos y actividades turísticas locales, y mejoren la infraestructura básica para mitigar los desafíos identificadoses_ES
