| dc.description | This research focuses on tourism planning and its contribution to sustainable development in the canton of Vinces, in the province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. Tourism planning is essential to establish strategies that connect the needs of the actors involved with environmental responsibility, having a positive impact on the preservation of ecosystems and promoting the valuation of the environment by the community. The problem identified is the lack of tourism planning in the canton of Vinces, which hinders the implementation of effective tourism policies and projects, resulting in negative economic consequences and environmental degradation. The research seeks to answer how tourism planning can foster sustainable development in this region. The main objective is to propose a strategic plan to promote sustainable tourism growth in Vinces, taking advantage of its valuable natural and cultural heritage. The methodology employed is mixed, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches through interviews and surveys with residents, tourists and local authorities to understand their needs, expectations and concerns. The research is feasible due to the accessibility of the area and the willingness of the community to participate, highlighting the importance of a strategic approach to improving the local economy and preserving natural and cultural resources for future generations. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación se centra en la planificación turística y su contribución al desarrollo sostenible del cantón Vinces, en la provincia de Los Ríos, Ecuador. La planificación turística es esencial para establecer estrategias que conecten las necesidades de los actores involucrados con la responsabilidad ambiental, impactando positivamente en la preservación de ecosistemas y fomentando la valoración del entorno por parte de la comunidad. En la investigación se encontraron diferentes problemas relacionados a la falta de un plan estratégico efectivo que están causando consecuencias notorias entre ella está la contaminación ambiental y la decadencia económica, por lo tanto, el estudio busca solucionar estos problemas mostrando como la planificación turística contribuye al desarrollo sostenible. El objetivo principal es proponer un plan estratégico que promueva el crecimiento turístico sostenible de Vinces, aprovechando su valioso patrimonio natural y cultural. La metodología empleada es mixta, combinando enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos mediante entrevistas y encuestas a residentes, turistas y autoridades locales para comprender sus necesidades, expectativas y preocupaciones. La investigación es factible debido a la accesibilidad del área y la disposición de la comunidad para participar, destacando la importancia de un enfoque estratégico para mejorar la economía local y preservar los recursos naturales y culturales para futuras generaciones. | es_ES |
