Strength is defined as the capacity of muscles to produce tension in particular situations; this capacity allows the body to move, overcome external resistance or maintain a certain position. In soccer, strength plays a fundamental role since the demands to which players are subjected are very high, requiring them to carry out a great variety of actions that are decisive during the game, such as jumping, changing direction, finishing, passing the ball, accelerating, and controlling the ball. The present investigation worked with a methodology of empirical and theoretical level, for the realization of the same we had a sample of 27 players of the Club Deportivo Santa Rita de Vinces, category U-17, which were applied the vertical jump test and horizontal jump test to assess the strength levels of the lower train of the players, in addition to 6 coaches, which were applied a survey to determine the level of knowledge they had about the aspects of soccer training. After performing the proper analysis and interpretation of data, it was obtained as a result that both players and coaching staff consider important the development of lower body strength in soccer players. Considering the evidence obtained through the physical tests performed to the players of the club, it could be evidenced that there is a deficiency of strength in the players of the club, for this problem we will propose a system of exercises to develop the explosive strength of the lower train of the players of the Club Deportivo Santa Rita, category U17 of the Vinces canton.es_ES
