dc.descriptionThe research is carried out in the Milenium Educational Simón Bolívar Unit of the Pimocha Parish, where physical education for the social and emotional development of 5-year-old students is investigated, since weaknesses have been identified with regard to the activities of the subject. of physical education, among which the following stand out: inappropriate attitudes on the part of children, little interaction between peers, physical exercises that do not promote social development. Therefore, the general objective is to determine the importance of physical education in the social and emotional development of children. On the other hand, the methodology to be considered has a qualitative approach, where the types of documentary and descriptive research will be applied; while the data collection techniques will be direct observation and interviews, which are aimed at the students and teachers of the educational unit. The results allowed us to conclude that: Physical education in 5-year-old infants is of great importance because it allows working on different developments, two of them being social and emotional. With respect to the social, by practicing physical activities, children manage to improve social relationships and reinforce camaraderie, because it facilitates communication and interaction; while, emotionally, physical education helps students lose fears, become empathetic, and increases confidence and self-esteem.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa investigación se realiza en la Unidad Educativa Milenium Simón Bolívar de la Parroquia Pimocha, donde se indaga sobre la educación física para el desarrollo social y emocional de los estudiantes de 5 años, puesto que se ha identificado debilidades en lo que respecta a las actividades de la asignatura de educación física, entre las que se destacan las siguientes: actitudes inapropiadas por parte de los niños, poca interacción entre compañeros, ejercicios físicos que no promueven el desarrollo social. Por lo tanto, el objetivo del estudio es determinar la importancia de la educación física en el desarrollo social y emocional de los niños. Por otra parte, la metodología consistió en un enfoque cualitativo, los tipos de investigación documental y descriptiva; mientras que las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la observación directa y entrevista, que estuvieron dirigidas a los estudiantes y docente de la unidad educativa. Los resultados permitieron concluir que: La educación física en infantes de 5 años es de gran importancia porque permite trabajar distintos desarrollos, dos de ellos son el social y emocional. Con respecto al social, los niños al practicar actividades físicas logran mejorar las relaciones sociales y refuerzan el compañerismo, debido a que les facilita la comunicación e interacción; mientras que, en lo emocional la educación física ayuda a los estudiantes a perder miedos, a ser empáticos, aumenta la confianza y autoestimaes_ES
