dc.description | The present study was carried out in the “El Milenio” educational unit of San Carlos, with the objective of determining whether ametropia has an effect on the development of reading-writing ability, evaluating visual acuity and the level of reading ability. -writing of the students, during the period from October 2023 to March 2024, a field study was implemented to identify the ametropia and effect on the reading-writing ability associated with the visual acuity of the patients, based on the variables of the object of study. study, the following aspects were taken into account; sex, age, occupation, background, measurements of visual acuity, refraction, diagnosis, and the evaluation of reading-writing ability before and after the respective correction using optical aids, this with the purpose of determining what effect ametropia has on reading-writing ability. Analyzing the results obtained through the field study, it is determined that there is a greater effect on the reading-writing ability in students who have compound myopic astigmatism due to the fact that it affects distant and near visual acuity, the lack of care, prevention, among others. Other determining factors are reasons for this document to recommend improving aspects of prevention and care by carrying out early, periodic check-ups to diagnose and correct ametropias that affect visual acuity and the development of certain visual skills. It is considered that the proposed proposal helps that ametropia causes problems and can affect the performance of daily or school tasks, increasing their difficulty due to poor visual acuity. To achieve the project objectives, the types, methods, techniques and research instruments that best suited were used, and helped establish an effective solution. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio se realizó en la unidad educativa “El Milenio” de San Carlos, con el objetivo de determinar si las de ametropías tienen un efecto sobre el desarrollo de la habilidad lecto-escritora, evaluando la agudeza visual y el nivel de la habilidad lecto-escritora de los alumnos, durante el periodo de octubre 2023 a marzo 2024, se implementó un estudio de campo para identificar las ametropías y efecto sobre la habilidad lecto-escritora asociadas con la agudeza visual de los pacientes, fundamentado en las variables del objeto de estudio, se tomó en cuenta los siguientes aspectos; sexo, edad, antecedentes, medidas de la agudeza visual, refracción, diagnóstico, y la evaluación de la habilidad lecto-escritora antes y después de la respectiva corrección mediante ayudas ópticas, esto con el propósito de determinar que efecto tienen las ametropías sobre la habilidad lecto-escritora. Analizando los resultados obtenidos a través del estudio de campo, se determina que existen un mayor efecto sobre la habilidad lecto-escritora en los alumnos que poseen astigmatismo miopíco compuesto debido que afectan la agudeza visual lejana y próxima, la falta de cuidados, prevención, entre otros factores determinantes, son motivos para que en el presente documento se recomiende mejorar aspectos de prevención y cuidados realizando controles precoces, periódicos para diagnosticar y corregir ametropías que afecten la agudeza visual y el desarrollo de ciertas habilidades visuales. Se considera que la propuesta planteada, ayuda que las ametropías ocasionan problemas y pueden afectar la realización de tareas cotidianas o escolares incrementando su dificultad por una agudeza visual deficiente. Para alcanzar los objetivos del proyecto, se emplearon los tipos métodos, técnicas e instrumentos de investigación que mejor se adaptaban y ayudo a establecer una eficaz solución. | es_ES |
