dc.descriptionThe objective of this work is to present information about technological innovations in banana (Musa AAA) agroecosystems on the Ecuadorian coast. Different sources of information tell us that the production and export of bananas is one of the most important agricultural activities in the South American region. In fact, for about 25 years, our country has been a leader in its exports, with 26% of world trade. The continuous modernization of its processes continues. Technological innovations in banana cultivation are a process that seeks to improve productivity through the use of new technologies. And this has made it possible to optimize crop performance in issues such as productivity and economic sustainability. Farmers can use these tools to gain a better understanding of their crops and to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Among other methods, we have the use of drones and specialized software to carry out agronomic management of banana crops, which allows them to be monitored at all times. The use of digital scales that allow the correct weight of the fruit and boxes at the time of export.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente trabajo es exponer información sobre las innovaciones tecnológicas en los agroecosistemas de banano (Musa AAA) en el litoral ecuatoriano. Distintas fuentes de información nos dicen que el producción y exportación de banano es una de las actividades agrícolas más importantes en la región suramericana. Inclusive, desde hace unos 25 años, nuestro país es líder en su exportación, con el 26 % del comercio mundial. La continua tecnificación de sus procesos sigue adelante. Las innovaciones tecnológicas en el cultivo de banano es un proceso que busca mejorar la productividad mediante el uso de nuevas tecnologías. Y ello ha permitido optimizar el rendimiento de cultivo en temas como productividad y sustentabilidad económica. Los agricultores pueden utilizar estas herramientas para obtener una mejor comprensión de sus cultivos y para identificar áreas de mejora y oportunidades de crecimiento. Entre otros métodos tenemos la utilización de drones y de software especializados para realizar manejos agronómicos de los cultivos de banano lo que permite tenerlos monitoreados todo el tiempo. El uso de balanzas digitales que permiten el peso correcto de la fruta y cajas al momento de la exportación.es_ES
