dc.descriptionIn this context, a detailed investigation was carried out on stock control at Distribuidora Touma S.A. The main objective of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of stock control at Distribuidora Touma S.A., identifying specific challenges and proposing solutions to improve inventory management. We sought to gain a detailed understanding of staff perception and experience, as well as the owner's strategic approach to addressing existing challenges. Adopting a descriptive methodological approach, techniques such as interviews with management personnel, surveys of suppliers and clients, and the application of structured questionnaires were used. The data collection instruments included interview and survey questionnaires, with the purpose of obtaining qualitative and quantitative information on inventory management at Distribuidora Touma S.A. The results of the survey addressed to employees revealed that 67% perceive the efficiency of stock control as inefficient, where solutions were proposed, with the review and adjustment of replenishment processes being the most notable, according to 67% of participants. The investigation reveals a worrying discrepancy between the importance attributed to inventory control and the operational reality at Distribuidora Touma S.A. Identified challenges, such as lack of accuracy and fluctuations in product availability, point to the urgent need for improvements. Recommendations include implementing a more advanced inventory management system, reviewing logistics processes and training staff.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn este contexto, se llevó a cabo una investigación detallada sobre el control de stock en Distribuidora Touma S.A. El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue evaluar la eficiencia del control de stock en Distribuidora Touma S.A., identificando desafíos específicos y proponiendo soluciones para mejorar la gestión de inventarios. Se buscó obtener una comprensión detallada de la percepción y experiencia del personal, así como del enfoque estratégico del propietario para abordar los desafíos existentes. Adoptando un enfoque metodológico descriptivo, se utilizaron técnicas como entrevistas al personal directivo, encuestas a trabajadores y administradores, y la aplicación de cuestionarios estructurados. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos incluyeron cuestionarios de entrevista y encuesta, con el propósito de obtener información cualitativa y cuantitativa sobre la gestión de inventarios en Distribuidora Touma S.A. Los resultados de la encuesta dirigida a los empleados revelaron que el 67% percibe la eficiencia del control de stock como poco eficiente, donde se propusieron soluciones, siendo la revisión y ajuste de los procesos de reabastecimiento la más destacada, según el 67% de los participantes. La investigación revela una preocupante discrepancia entre la importancia atribuida al control de inventario y la realidad operativa en Distribuidora Touma S.A. Los desafíos identificados, como la falta de precisión y las fluctuaciones en la disponibilidad de productos, señalan la necesidad urgente de mejoras. Las recomendaciones incluyen la implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventario más avanzado, la revisión de procesos logísticos y la capacitación del personal.es_ES
