dc.description | The incidence of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process and especially the use of the Educapaly tool is addressed. The objective is to develop skills and abilities in the mastery of the English language with the application of music as multimedia content implemented in Virtual Learning Environments by means of a pedagogical strategy. Theoretical research methods are used in the study of the referential theoretical framework as a guide for the systematization of the precedent knowledge and basis for the elaboration of the strategy and the survey used in the verification. Empirical methods such as questionnaires and surveys are also applied and combined with the use of mathematical statistical tools such as the Group Satisfaction and recommendation indexes. SPSS software is used to test the validity of the instrument (Conbrach's Alpha) and reliability (R-squared), as well as the development of statistical tests such as normality test, Pearson's correlation and Chi-Square. Satisfactory results were obtained with the use of the tool for the four dimensions studied and excellent values for usability, applicability and recommendation of the strategy by use. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Se aborda la incidencia de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje y en especial el uso de la herramienta Educapaly. El objetivo es desarrollar destrezas y habilidades en el dominio del idioma inglés con la aplicación de la música como contenido multimedia implementado en los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje por medio de una estrategia pedagógica. Se utilizan métodos teóricos de investigación en el estudio del marco teórico referencial como guía para la sistematización del conocimiento precedente y base para la elaboración de la estrategia y la encuesta utilizada en la comprobación. Se aplican además métodos empíricos como los cuestionarios y las encuestas y se combinan con el uso de herramientas estadístico matemáticas como los índices de Satisfacción Grupal y de recomendación. Se utiliza el software SPSS para probar la validez del instrumento (Alpha de Conbrach) y la fiabilidad (R cuadrado), así como el desarrollo de pruebas estadísticas como prueba de normalidad, correlación de Pearson y Chi Cuadrado. Se obtienen resultados satisfactorios con el uso de la herramienta para las cuatro dimensiones estudiadas y valores excelentes para la usabilidad, aplicabilidad y recomendación de la estrategia por los usuarios. | es_ES |
