Su creciente popularidad ha llevado a que millones de personas en todo el mundo obtengan noticias e información a través de estas plataformas. La instantaneidad y el alcance masivo permiten que las noticias se propaguen rápidamente, propagándose a audiencias globales en cuestión de segundos. La migración de estas plataformas a las páginas web, se ha convertido en algo de todos los días, pero el conflicto viene con que no todos los que usan redes sociales, usan páginas web para informarse, se podría mencionar algunas variables causales: los individuos prefieren consumir contenido de diferente índole, menos el informativo.es_ES
