dc.description | This research work was carried out in the Babahoyo canton, part of the province of Los Ríos. The objective of this work was to evaluate the existence of positive Brucellosis reactors in pigs from family stratum farms, the highest prevalence of brucella suis, using the rose bengal diagnostic technique and to analyze the main risk factors with respect to the possession of the illness. To achieve this, blood samples were taken by venipuncture from the jugular vein of the pigs, randomly selecting 33 sampling farms, using the Percentage Method to determine how many cases are positive or negative for Brucella suis, in pigs using the diagnostic technique. “rose bengal” plate agglutination, the methodology used was the non-parametric statistical design (Chi square). The results obtained were with a negativity of the total of 273 samples, it is worth mentioning that the sector with the highest prevalence. of the disease is Malaria with 3 cases with 1,08%, Chorrera with 1 case with 0,36%, Cañaveral with 1 case with 0,36%, Huavito with 1 case with 0,36% | es_ES |
