dc.description | The objective of the present study was to assess the ammonified corn cob (Zea mays L) with three levels of urea in the Urdaneta canton. We worked with three levels of urea (3, 4 and 5%) in the form of an aqueous solution on the corncob stored hermetically in plastic bags for a period of 20 days. The variables dry matter, crude protein (PC%), neutral detergent fiber (NDF%), acid detergent fiber (FDA%) were evaluated, with a completely randomized design with four pulls and three repetitions. The results for the 0, 3, 4 and 5% urea treatments were: According to the analysis of variance (ANOVA), significant differences were obtained between the treatments. With the dose of 0% urea, the highest amount of dry matter was obtained with 89.07%, which was higher than the treatments with 3% (70.28), 4% (68.81) and 5% (67, 86). The Tukey mean comparison test found no significant difference between treatments, numerically the treatment with the best ash averages was the control treatment with 8.50% and the lowest average was found in T2 (corn pan at 4% urea). with 6.56%. The corn panca with a time of 20 days of ammonification and with levels of 3, 4 and 5% of urea dissolved in water, increased the crude protein. 8.0, 10.59 and 12.02%, respectively. While the corn flakes without urea, the crude protein content was 5.79%. The effect of dissolved urea on the cell wall reduced the neutral detergent fiber content. The corn flake without urea 75.29% and with 5% urea was 72.39%. The corn flake with 0% urea was 51.08% and with 5% urea it was reduced by 49.05% in the acid detergent fiber. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
