dc.description | Organizations live in constant transformations that require them to maintain excellent work performance and quality of service for their development, so it is necessary that they know how to manage them. Therefore, the research carried out had the objective of determining the way in which work performance influenced the quality of service of the employees of the Municipality of the Puebloviejo Canton, Los Ríos.
For the execution of this work, a cross-sectional descriptive-explanatory design methodology was applied, with an applicative and purposeful approach. Its sample consisted of 80 workers belonging to the aforementioned organization, and the research technique was the survey that was handled with a questionnaire based on the Likert Scale.
The results obtained showed that the majority of the workers agreed that both variables influence each other, and with them their dimensions, labor productivity, labor efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, trust and empathy; presenting a conversion according to the Rho Spearman coefficient of 0.584, with a significance level of p <0.01, which in conclusion refers to the fact that job performance does influence the quality of the service provided to users who come to the GAD Municipality of Pueblo Viejo. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Las organizaciones viven en constante transformaciones que les pide mantener un desempeño laboral y una calidad de servicio de excelencia para su desarrollo, por lo que es necesario que estas conozcan su manejo. Por ello, la investigación realizada tuvo como objetivo determinar la manera en que el desempeño laboral influye en la calidad de servicio de los empleados del Municipio del Cantón Puebloviejo, Los Ríos.
Para la ejecución de este trabajo se aplicó una metodología de diseño descriptivo-explicativo de corte transversal, con un enfoque aplicativo y propositivo. Su muestra estuvo conformada por 80 trabajadores pertenecientes a la organización mencionada, y la técnica de investigación fue la encuesta que se manejó con un cuestionario en base a la Escala de Likert.
Los resultados obtenidos arrojaron que la mayoría de los trabajadores mostraron estar de acuerdo que ambas variables tienen influencia una de la otra, y con ellos sus dimensiones, productividad laboral, eficiencia laboral, eficacia, satisfacción al cliente, fiabilidad y empatía; presentando una correlación según el coeficiente de Rho Spearman de 0,584, con un nivel de significancia de p<0.01, lo que en conclusión refiere que el desempeño laboral si influye en la calidad del servicio que se le brinda a los usuarios que acuden a la GAD municipal de Puebloviejo. | es_ES |
