dc.description | The objective of the present work is to identify the impact of the use of technological
equipment in the cognitive development of the students of the UTB-Extension Quevedo, this due
to the fact that technology has meant several changes in the processes of work, study and therefore
in the life of human beings, which has implied some questions about the use of technological
equipment in classrooms because this can affect how to promote certain cognitive abilities of
students, so that the relationship between the use of technological equipment with academic
performance and demonstrate the barriers and challenges faced by teachers and students. For the
development of this research work, two types of field research were used together with the
quantitative and qualitative to carry out the corresponding study on the study variables, three
analytical, inductive and deductive methods were used for the study, comparison and relation of
the data obtained with the laws already determined by other researchers, to know the different
points of view of the students of this university, a survey with multiple options was applied, which
allows young university students to lean towards the one of their greatest preference for that in this
way provide concrete data to establish the results, these results will allow teachers, students and
the university in question to apply new techniques and strategies for the cognitive process of
learning through the use of technological equipment, as a conclusion, more than half of the
population of students surveyed believe that technological equipment is a useful tool for learning,
which is why they use these equipment very frequently for the development of academic activities. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El objetivo del presente trabajo es identificar el impacto del uso de equipos tecnológicos
en el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes de la UTB-Extensión Quevedo, esto debido a que la
tecnología ha significado varios cambios en los procesos de trabajo, estudio y por ende en la vida
de los seres humanos, lo que ha implicado algunos cuestionamientos sobre el uso de los equipos
tecnológicos en las aulas de clases debido a que esto puede afectar como favorecer ciertas
habilidades cognitivas de los estudiantes, por lo que además se analizara la relación del uso de los
equipos tecnológicos con el rendimiento académico y demostrar las barreras y desafíos que
enfrentan los docentes y estudiantes. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo de investigación se
emplearon dos tipos de investigación de campo en conjunto con el cuantitativo y cualitativo para
realizar el estudio correspondiente sobre las variables de estudio, se utilizaron tres métodos el
analítico, inductivo y deductivo para el estudio, comparación y relación de los datos obtenidos con
las leyes ya determinadas por otros investigadores, para conocer los diferentes puntos de vistas de
los estudiantes de esta universidad se aplico una encuesta con opciones múltiples las cual permite
que los jóvenes universitarios se inclinen hacia la de su mayor preferencia para que de esta manera
brinden datos concretos para establecer los resultados, estos resultados permitirán que los
docentes, estudiantes y la universidad en cuestión apliquen nuevas técnicas y estrategias para el
proceso cognitivo del aprendizaje mediante el uso de equipos tecnológicos, como conclusión más
de la mitad de la población de estudiantes encuestados creen que los equipos tecnológicos son una
herramienta útil para el aprendizaje por lo que utilizan con mucha frecuencia estos equipos para el
desarrollo de las actividades académicas. | es_ES |
