dc.description | This case study established the answer to the question: What is the impact generated by social insecurity in tourist food and beverage establishments in the Vinces canton? Where the main objective was to analyze the perception of users and owners of food and beverage establishments in order to identify the impact it generates, through mixed-focus research, it was carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods through of survey and interview techniques, for which two questionnaires were used as instruments. The survey consisted of 17 closed questions addressed to the users of A&B establishments in the Vinces canton. The interview consisted of 5 open questions for the owners of said establishments. The main results show that, in the last two years, social insecurity in the Vinces canton has worsened, causing fear among citizens. The study subjects stated that they were used to violent acts and their attendance at A&B establishments has decreased, especially at night. All these situations have generated a negative impact for users and owners of the establishments, of a psychological, social and economic nature. And therefore, the community is also affected. It is recommended that the authorities generate immediate action strategies to create safe spaces for the community and especially for the users of F&B establishments. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso estableció la respuesta a la pregunta ¿Cuál es el impacto que genera la inseguridad social en los establecimientos turísticos de alimentos y bebidas en el cantón Vinces? Donde el objetivo principal fue es analizar la percepción de los usuarios y propietarios de los establecimientos de alimentos y bebidas con el fin de identificar el impacto que ésta genera, mediante la investigación de enfoque mixto, se la realizó utilizando los métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos a través de las técnicas de encuestas y entrevistas, para la cual se emplearon como instrumentos dos cuestionarios. La encuesta consistió en 17 preguntas cerradas dirigidas a los usuarios de los establecimientos de A&B del cantón Vinces. La entrevista constó de 5 preguntas abiertas para los propietarios de dichos establecimientos. Los principales resultados muestran que, en los últimos dos años ha empeorado la inseguridad social en el cantón Vinces, ocasionando temor en la ciudadanía. Los sujetos de estudio manifestaron estar acostumbrados a hechos violentos y han disminuido su concurrencia a los establecimientos de A&B, sobre todo en horarios nocturnos. Todas estas situaciones han generado un impacto negativo para usuarios y propietarios de los establecimientos, de carácter psicológico, social y económico. Y, por consiguiente, se ve afectada también la comunidad. Se recomienda que las autoridades generen estrategias de acción inmediata para generar espacios seguros para la comunidad y en especial a los usuarios de los establecimientos de A&B. | es_ES |
