dc.descriptionCommunication in digital media emphasizes the interaction and transmission of information through digital platforms such as the Internet and social networks. It has experienced rapid growth and has become an integral part of our daily lives allowing communication to be achieved in a variety of ways, such as exchanging text messages, streaming media content, and participating in online communities. These media allow instant and global communication, which has transformed the way we relate to each other and share information. The objective of the present investigation is to analyze the influence of communication in digital media in the professional training of students of the Social Communication career of the Technical University of Babahoyo Extension Quevedo, Year 2023. To develop this study, an investigation was carried out. bibliographic review of related topics, in addition a quantitative methodology focused on the development of surveys to the students of the aforementioned institution was used. Through a field study, it was possible to collect updated and real information on the problem, through field files; As a result, it was obtained that the students of the Social Communication career have a start in the use of digital communication media, but they must also strengthen their knowledge on the subject because innovation and implementation of the digital technologies for their professional training. It is concluded that there must be within the institution the development of training on the use of web pages, social networks, digital content creation.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa comunicación en medios digitales hace énfasis a la interacción y transmisión de información a través de plataformas digitales como Internet y las redes sociales. Ha experimentado un rápido crecimiento y se ha convertido en una parte integral de nuestra vida cotidiana permitiendo que se logre una comunicación de diversas formas, como el intercambio de mensajes de texto, la transmisión de contenido multimedia y la participación en comunidades en línea. Estos medios permiten una comunicación instantánea y global, lo que ha transformado la forma en que nos relacionamos y compartimos información. El objetivo de la presente investigación es Analizar la influencia de la comunicación en medios digitales en la formación profesional de los estudiantes de la carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo Extensión Quevedo, Año 2023. Para desarrollar este estudio se procedió a realizar una revisión bibliográfica de temáticas relacionadas, además se utilizó una metodología de carácter cuantitativa enfocada en el desarrollo de encuestas a los estudiantes de la institución antes mencionada. Mediante un estudio de campo se logró recabar información actualizada y real de la problemática, por medio de fichas de campo; como resultados se obtuvo que los estudiantes de la carrera de Comunicación Social cuentan con un inicio en el uso de los medios de comunicación digital, pero también deben de fortalecer sus conocimientos en la temática debido a que es de suma importancia la innovación e implementación de las tecnologías digitales para su formación profesional. Se concluye que debe de existir dentro de la institución el desarrollo de capacitaciones en temáticas del uso de páginas web, redes sociales, creación de contenido digital.es_ES
