dc.description | The present study called, organizational communication and its impact on the institutional
image of the newspaper La Gaceta of the canton of La Maná, has the objective of analyzing the
importance of communication and the existing relationship with the corporate image. For the
development of the investigation the inductive and deductive method was used. In the first case,
it was possible to obtain the most relevant information starting from particular statements to
general conclusions, in the same way, with the deductive method, the general information was
analyzed in order to obtain specific data.
To delve deeper into the subject, documentation from various authors who focused their
research on communication within organizations and the image they project was reviewed, on
the other hand, the techniques used for data collection were the interview and survey carried out
with the members who provide their services in the newspaper La Gaceta.
The results obtained show that organizational communication is closely related to the
institutional image, since good communication involves the dissemination of messages or
information in a transparent manner to promote teamwork, improve the work environment,
maintain the focus on compliance business objectives, create collective awareness, increase
productivity, reduce errors, expand and consolidate the image of the organization in the public

dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio denominado, comunicación organizacional y su incidencia en la imagen
institucional del diario La Gaceta del cantón La Maná, tiene el objetivo de analizar la importancia
de la comunicación y la relación existente con la imagen corporativa. Para el desarrollo de la
investigación se utilizó el método inductivo y deductivo. En el primer caso se logró obtener la
información más relevante partiendo de enunciados particulares a conclusiones generales, de igual
modo, con el método deductivo se analizó la información general con la finalidad de obtener datos
específicos.
Para profundizar más en el tema se revisó documentación de varios autores que centraron sus
investigaciones en la comunicación dentro de las organizaciones y la imagen que proyectan, por
otro lado, las técnicas empleadas para la recopilación de datos fueron la entrevista y encuesta
ejecutadas con los miembros que prestan sus servicios en el diario La Gaceta.
Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la comunicación organizacional guarda estrecha relación
con la imagen institucional, dado que, una buena comunicación conlleva la divulgación de
mensajes o información de manera transparente para fomentar el trabajo en equipo, mejorar el
clima laboral, mantener el enfoque en el cumplimento de los objetivos empresariales, crear
conciencia colectiva, incrementar la productividad, reducir errores, expandir y consolidar la
