The present investigation, on the effects of desertification as a cause of deforestation in Ecuadorian soils, consists of highlighting the importance of caring for desert soils due to deforestation problems, information from various sources was investigated to publicize the case problem. Desertification is another general term used for land degradation in drylands and the transformation of the land to a state that renders it irreversible for its original use. The desertification of forests due to the excessive felling of trees, entails a great problem for Ecuadorian soils due to the lack of nutrients that these soils provide. Studies (IPCC) have shown that once a forest is cut down, sterile soil remains due to multiple erosions. that they provide At present, desertification as a cause of deforestation in Ecuador, occupies a large amount of desert soil due to high deforestation in the area, the causes of desertification in the communities occur due to lack of knowledge of the actions they carry out at the time of felling. forests that reserve a large amount of natural resources. Desertification is mainly caused by the loss of vegetation cover that supports fertile soil layers, the felling of trees and shrubs for timber value, their use as fuel or the acquisition of arable land, overgrazing or reseeding prevents the enough plant regeneration for animals to destroy the topsoil.es_ES
