dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research study was to determine the influence of the use of technology on academic performance in sixth grade students of parallel A and B of the "Adolfo Páez" Educational Unit. So that the proposed hypothesis seeks to investigate how the use of technology has a negative impact on the academic performance of students, which has a cognitive behavioral psychological approach, therefore, a population of 60 students was obtained, where the sample is constituted by an accidental non-probabilistic sample with a total of 25 students. This is based on a mixed research approach (qualitative/quantitative), type of correlational research, which will allow us to measure the degree of relationship that exists between the use of technology in academic performance, non-experimental design in a way that will allow us to define the variables without manipulating them. The techniques and instruments that are used to collect information on the use of technology variable, which will be used in a survey such as a questionnaire of closed questions, in order to obtain information on the student's academic process, as well as An interview was used as an open-ended questionnaire, so that information on the follow-up of the educational process of the students could be collected, and for the variable of academic performance, PMA primary mental aptitude psychometric test to be able to determine which are the main skills related to student intelligence and grade record analysis.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio investigativo tuvo como propósito, determinar la influencia del uso de la tecnología en el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de sexto grado del paralelo A y B de la Unidad Educativa “Adolfo Páez”. De manera que la hipótesis planteada busca indagar como el uso de la tecnología repercute negativamente en el rendimiento académico de los *estudiantes, la cual tiene un enfoque psicológico cognitivo conductual, por ende, se obtuvo una población de 60 alumnos, donde la muestra se encuentra constituida por un muestro no probabilístico accidental con un total de 25 estudiantes. Esta se basa en un enfoque investigativo mixto (cualitativo/ cuantitativo), tipo de investigación correlacional, la cual nos proporcionará medir el grado de relación que existe entre el uso de la tecnología en el rendimiento académico, diseño no experimental de manera que nos permitirá definir las variables sin manipularlas. Las técnicas e instrumentos que se emplean para recolectar información de la variable uso de la tecnología la cual se utilizara una encuesta como es un cuestionario de preguntas cerradas, para de esa manera, obtener información sobre el proceso académico del estudiante, al igual que también se utilizó una entrevista como es un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas, por lo que se podrá recopilar la información sobre el seguimiento del proceso educativo de los estudiantes, y para la variable de rendimiento académico, test psicométrico aptitudes mentales primaria PMA para poder determinar cuáles son las principales aptitudes relacionadas con la inteligencia de los estudiantes y el análisis de registro de calificaciones.es_ES
