The pineapple variety MD2 is a high-yield hybrid which requires agronomic management to be optimized and technified, this is because it is a high-consumption crop in Ecuador and internationally, therefore, exports of this product increase and raise demand. of quality standards. All agricultural production depends on the management that the crop receives from planting to harvest and density management greatly influences production since it is a technical decision that is taken into account to carry the crop and increase its yield. Planting densities play a very important role because if it is not done correctly, the consequences will be reflected soon, due to the competition that exists between plants for their survival, not having a good management reflects several deficiencies in the harvest, fruits without flavor, small fruits and will increase the production costs that are carried out in the management cycle. Therefore, the density that is technically more efficient and will guarantee a high quality production for pineapple crops in Ecuador is established. The density for the MD2 variety that has a good performance in the practice of pineapple cultivation is the one that has a distance of 0.60 between the lane, 0.35 m between the row and 1.20 m between the center of the furrow to the other center, which is reflected in a image made in AutoCAD and attached as an annex. To calculate the number of plants per hectare I used the formula D= axbx2 and the result is 37 032 plants with the "Hawaiian or double row" method.es_ES
