dc.descriptionA case study is presented that addresses the treatment of information on the prison crisis, through the contents published by La Posta in 2021, the year in which this social problem worsened in Ecuador, considering this medium as one of the main managers of public opinion in the current digital media of the country. In reference to the methodology, a descriptive study was developed, through a quali-quantitative approach, using two techniques, through observation the structure of the information of the selected media was analyzed and through the survey the indexes of citizen opinion were determined. Thus generating theoretical and practical contributions on the treatment of information in order to contribute new knowledge to students and professionals of communication, as well as to the population in general. Therefore, addressing this topic is important to know the structure of the information that the selected media gives to the facts, in addition to the opinion of the followers, therefore, among the results obtained, it is found that the citizens like and consider La Posta reliable, in addition they treat the facts as they identify themselves with a colloquial, satirical and fast consumption language.es_ES

dc.description.abstractSe presenta un estudio de caso que aborda el tratamiento de la información sobre la crisis carcelaria, mediante los contenidos publicados por La Posta en el 2021, año en el que esta problemática social se agudizó en Ecuador, al considerarse este medio como uno de los principales gestores de la opinión pública en la actualidad del país. En referencia a la metodología, se diseñó un estudio descriptivo, a través de un enfoque mixto, es decir cualitativo y cuantitativo, mediante el uso dos técnicas: las fichas de observación para el análisis la estructura de la información del medio seleccionado y por medio de la encuesta digital se determinaron los índices de aceptación ciudadana. Generando así aportes teóricos y prácticos con el fin de contribuir conocimientos nuevos a estudiantes y profesionales de la comunicación, así como a la población en general. Por ende, abordar esta temática es importante para conocer la estructura de la información que el medio seleccionado otorga a los hechos, además la opinión de los seguidores, por tanto, entre los resultados obtenidos reposan que la ciudadanía gusta y considera confiable a La Posta, además tratan los hechos tal y como se identifican con un lenguaje coloquial, satírico y de rápido consumo.es_ES
