dc.descriptionIn the present master's work, the proposal of a digital technological strategy to improve reading comprehension in students is the objective of the research. In the study problem, the problem of reading comprehension and learning is evident, a fact that will affect their academic and professional life in the not too distant future. The methodology corresponds to documentary information, as well as field information, with a quantitative approach, for which the data collection will be carried out to verify the hypothesis, through numerical measurement and statistical analysis. Regarding the findings, both students and teachers stated that they have access to the internet, as well as to online digital tools; It is also evidenced that there is no motivation for reading, therefore the level of reading comprehension is low, therefore, it is necessary to apply digital technological strategies to motivate students towards reading. In short, in the two applied surveys, the results of the chi-square tests allowed rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis because the significance or margin of error is within the range of 5%, concluding that it is advisable to apply digital technological strategies to improve reading comprehension levels, this academic work is also recommended for future teaching research related to the central theme of the thesis.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo de maestría la proposición de una estrategia tecnológica digital para mejorar la comprensión lectora en los estudiantes es el objetivo de la investigación. En el problema de estudio se evidencia el problema sobre la compresión lectora y el aprendizaje, hecho que afectará su vida académica y profesional en un futuro no muy lejano. La metodología corresponde a la información documental, así como de campo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, para lo cual se llevará a cabo la recolección de datos para la comprobación de la hipótesis, a través de la medición numérica y análisis estadístico. Con relación a los hallazgos tanto estudiantes y docentes manifestaron que tienen acceso a internet, así como a las herramientas digitales en línea; también se evidencia que no hay motivación para la lectura por ende el nivel de comprensión lectora es bajo, por lo tanto, es necesario aplicar estrategias tecnológicas digitales para motivar a los estudiantes hacia la lectura. En definitiva, en las dos encuestas aplicadas los resultados de las pruebas de chi cuadrado permitieron rechazar la hipótesis nula y aceptar la hipótesis alternativa porque la significancia o margen de error está dentro del rango del 5% concluyendo que es recomendable aplicar las estrategias tecnológicas digitales para mejorar los niveles de comprensión lectora, además se recomienda este trabajo académico para futuras investigaciones docentes afines al tema central de la tesis.es_ES
