dc.descriptionThis research project was carried out through a digital questionnaire addressed to the inhabitants of the “Viva Alfaro” sector, belonging to the Quevedo canton. Its purpose is to determine the impact of Traditional Media in virtual environments, because, with the advancement of technology, these media have had to be digitized. Currently most people, especially young people, prefer and use websites for a number of activities, one of them is to stay informed of events that have occurred at the national and international level. One of the results obtained in this research was that the majority of the inhabitants of the “Viva Alfaro” sector remain connected on the websites for between four and six hours a day, with Facebook being the most used social network.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de investigación se realizó mediante un cuestionario digital dirigido a los habitantes del sector “Viva Alfaro”, perteneciente al cantón Quevedo. Tiene como finalidad determinar el impacto de los Medios Tradicionales en los entornos virtuales, debido a que, con el avance de la tecnología estos medios de comunicación han tenido que irse digitalizando. En la actualidad la mayoría de las personas especialmente los jóvenes prefieren y utilizan los sitios web para un sinnúmero de actividades, una de ellas es la de mantenerse informados de los sucesos ocurridos a nivel nacional e internacional. Uno de los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación fue que la mayoría de los habitantes del sector “Viva Alfaro” permanecen conectadas en los sitios web entre cuatro y seis horas diarias, siendo Facebook la red social más utilizada.es_ES
