dc.description | This document develops the analysis in the handling, production and its commercialization in the cultivation of rice (Oryza sativa L.), in Ecuador. Rice is one of the main crops on the Ecuadorian coast, which is why the topic is focused on rice as the most consumed product for human consumption. dc.description.abstract | En el presente documento se desarrolla el análisis en el manejo, producción y su comercialización en el cultivo de arroz (Oryza sativa L.), en Ecuador. El arroz es uno de los principales cultivos de la costa ecuatoriana, es por ello que el tema está enfocado en el arroz como producto de mayor consumo para la alimentación humana. Entre las conclusiones se destacan que el arroz es un cereal de mayor consumo alimenticio y generador de empleos, por los tanto siempre va a incrementar su demanda; la provincias de mayor producción en su orden son Guayas, Manabí Los Ríos y el Oro; el adecuado manejo tecnológico del cultivo permitirá mejorar los rendimientos de los agricultores a corto y mediano plazo; el proceso de producción de arroz, es de pocas etapas; sin embargo en cada una de sus etapas no es un proceso muy fácil, por lo tanto merece la aplicación de tecnología actualizada permite optimizar el tiempo de trabajo y mucho cuidado y control en cuanto a los tiempos de fertilización, plagas, enfermedades y malezas con la finalidad de aumentar la productividad del cultivo y es importante que los organizamos gubernamentales ayuden a los agricultores en cuanto a la comercialización del producto, con incremento y reapertura de centros de acopio, control de industrializadoras para que no existan intermediarios que exploten a los pequeños y medianos agricultores, lo que perjudica en sus ingresos económicos. | es_ES |
