dc.description | Hypochondria has been known since ancient times because of concern, not because of the signs or symptoms, but because of the affirmation that the person has that they have a health problem. These thoughts, which are established in the wrong interpretation of bodily signs and sensations, form in the patient intense beliefs of clinically characteristic discomfort, with a notable alteration in their activities of daily living and with an excess of drugs.
The patient resorts to various health services and is cared for by some professionals such as internal and external doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists. But that does not prevent the patient from thinking that the disease continues even with medical records, examinations, or evaluations. Sometimes a medical check-up generates anxiety factors, causing an affectation at the time of performing certain tests on the patient. These facts cause frustration and dissatisfaction in the patient with the care received by the professionals, feeling that the professionals do not pay them adequate attention.
Finally, this project shows how this disorder evolves in a 29-year-old patient, and the possible treatments to carry this disorder in daily life. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
