dc.descriptionThe present case study aims to analyze intermittent explosive disorder in a 19-year-old patient to determine timely treatment. This research is based on theoretical support from similar studies that help to understand intermittent explosive disorder. For the execution of the study, techniques such as interview, direct observation, clinical history, test, among others, were applied in the procedure to collect data and know in depth the onset of IED in the young person with disorder. The results obtained answered that indeed the patient suffers from a high index of aggressiveness and anger and that the episodes last around 30 minutes. These impulsive losses lie in past family problems and one of them. He was given the information and adequate treatment to control the attacks of anger and anger and therefore that the patient is assisted by professionals who treat this type of conduct disorder.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo analizar el trastorno explosivo intermitente en un paciente de 19 años para determinar el tratamiento oportuno. Esta investigación se fundamenta bajo sustentos teóricos de estudios similares que ayudan a comprender el trastorno explosivo intermitente. Para el la ejecución del estudio, en el procedimiento se aplicaron técnicas como entrevista, observación directa, historia clínica, test de entre otros, para recolectar datos y conocer a profundidad el inicio del TEI en el joven con trastorno. Los resultados obtenidos respondieron que efectivamente el paciente padece un alto índice de agresividad e ira y que los episodios duran alrededor de 30 minutos. Estos ataques impulsivos radican en los problemas familiares pasados y perdida de uno de ellos. Se le brindó la información y tratamiento adecuado para controlar los ataques de ira y enojo y por ende que el paciente sea asistido por profesionales que traten ese tipo de trastornos de conducta.es_ES
