dc.descriptionStudy case refers to the endogenous factors of the baba canton and its tourism development, it is one of the oldest cantons in the Los Rios province, it is known for its delicious gastronomy, for the warmth of its people, for its culture and traditions and above all for being a pioneer in Montubia culture. the baba canton, since ancient times, has excelled in the agricultural production of rice, cocoa and bananas. the main objective of this study case is to identify the endogenous factors of the baba canton in order to promote the tourist development of the city. the type of research used in this was the descriptive research and documentary or bibliographic research, the techniques used were the surveys carried out on the inhabitants of the baba canton and the interview with Eng. William Guerrero, president of the gad parroquial Guare. it was also applied instruments such as questionnaire, sample and population. as a result of the investigation, it was concluded that among the main problems that the canton presents is the infrastructure, the accessibility to the natural resources, the pollution of the environment in special the river, the little promotion of cultural and traditional events and traditional gastronomy to foreigners of the province and the country.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso hace referencia a los factores endógenos del cantón Baba y su desarrollo turístico, siendo uno de los cantones más antiguos de la provincia de Los Ríos, conocido por su exquisita gastronomía, por la calidez de su gente, por su cultura y tradiciones y sobre todo conocido a nivel provincial por ser pionero en la cultura montubia. El cantón Baba, desde tiempos remotos ha sobresalido en la producción agrícola de arroz, cacao y banano. El objetivo principal de este estudio de caso es identificar los factores endógenos del cantón Baba para así, promover el desarrollo turístico de la ciudad. El tipo de investigación utilizada en este estudio de caso fue la investigación de campo y la documental o bibliográfica, las técnicas empleadas fueron las encuestas realizadas a los habitantes del cantón Baba y la entrevista realizada al Ing. William Guerrero presidente del Gad Parroquial Guare, también se aplicaron instrumentos como cuestionario, muestra y población. Como resultado de la investigación se concluyó que entre las principales problemáticas que presenta el cantón está el limitado desarrollo de aspectos como la infraestructura de los lugares potencialmente turísticos, dificultades en la accesibilidad a los recursos naturales, la contaminación de los recursos naturales, poca promoción y marketing turístico sobre los eventos tradicionales y gastronomía de la zona que atraigan a los turistas y el mal uso de los recursos naturales del cantón.es_ES
