| dc.description | The main objective of tourism development is to promote programs that contribute to promoting a higher level of quality, competitiveness and the generation of local capacities in destinations. This research work is focused on the analysis of endogenous factors for the tourist development of the Urdaneta canton, within the territory of Catarama cantonal head and Ricaurte parochial head; separated by a beautiful river, its flow bathes almost all its territory. The qualitative research was carried out through an observation file and the application of 103 surveys to visitors, among tourists and hikers who have visited the canton. Through the surveys, the problem was identified, in order to provide useful information so that the destination managers can generate improvement actions to promote tourism. For the research, 6 rivers, 1 lagoon and 1 waterfall were considered, which are natural resources most frequently visited in the Urdaneta canton. Although it is necessary to make adjustments, the demand exists. Therefore, taking into account the recommendations in this work, the user experience at the destination could be significantly improved. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo turístico tiene como objetivo principal, impulsar programas que contribuyan a promover un mayor nivel de calidad, competitividad y la generación de capacidades locales en los destinos. El presente trabajo de investigación está enfocado en el análisis de factores endógenos para el desarrollo turístico del cantón Urdaneta, dentro del territorio de Catarama cabecera cantonal y Ricaurte cabecera parroquial; separados por un hermoso río, su caudal baña casi todo su territorio. Se realizó a través de una ficha de observación y la aplicación de 103 encuestas a visitantes, entre turistas y excursionistas que han visitado el cantón. Por medio de las encuestas se identificó la problemática, con el fin de proveer información de utilidad para que los gestores del destino puedan generar acciones de mejora para fomentar el turismo. Para la investigación se consideraron 6 ríos, 1 laguna y 1 cascada que son recursos naturales visitados con más frecuencia en el cantón Urdaneta. Aunque es necesario realizar adecuaciones, la demanda existe. Por lo que, tomando en consideración las recomendaciones en este trabajo planteadas, se podría mejorar significativamente la experiencia del usuario en el destino. | es_ES |
