| dc.description | This project is based on an analysis of the discourse issued by the newspaper El Universo when it refers to dead women in charge of their partners or any individual on the street who takes advantage of them as an abuser and aggressor of them. The methods and techniques used for this study were the qualitative and quantitative methods, the interview techniques and the corresponding analysis file instrument of the 2020 digital newspaper Universo, which includes femicide news. The problem of femicide is addressed through the discourse that this medium exposes, starting from the following thematic categories that have helped in the development and analysis of this case study such as: violence, discourse and communication, with the purpose of understanding Under what parameters is a mediated discourse constructed which becomes something natural for the audiences. It presents an analysis through a file with the data of the women killed by femicide and in what way the event occurred, it also finds brief concepts of what femicide is and how the media have been involved in them, such as the cases for homicides and murders. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto se basa a un análisis sobre el discurso que emite diario El Universo cuando se refiere a las mujeres muertas a cargo de sus parejas o cualquier individuo de la calle que se aprovecha considerándolo como un abusador y agresor de ellas. Los métodos y técnicas utilizadas para este estudio fueron los métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, las técnicas de entrevista y instrumento de ficha de análisis correspondiente del diario digital Universo del años 2020 que comprende a las noticias de femicidio. Se aborda la problemática del femicidio a través del discurso que este medio expone, partiendo de las siguientes categorías temáticas que han ayudado en el desarrollo y análisis de este estudio de caso como: la violencia, el discurso y la comunicación, con el propósito de comprender bajo que parámetros se construye un discurso mediatizado el cual se convierte en algo natural para las audiencias. Presenta un análisis atreves de una ficha con los datos de las mujeres muertas por femicidio y de qué manera se aconteció el hecho, también se encuentra breves conceptos de que es el femicidio y como los medios de comunicación se han involucrado en ellos como son los casos por homicidios y asesinatos. | es_ES |
