| dc.description | In the present case study, it will be determined how freedom of expression is exercised in the digital medium Ec Content, in the strengthening of democracy in the City of Babahoyo, that is why the type of research is used in the bibliographic, which allows to extract information from reliable sources, from the criteria of experts on the subject, descriptive research was also used, where interviews will be conducted with a journalist from the digital media as well as the head of the same, to learn about the environment of freedom of expression in the journalistic medium. Once the interviews were concluded, it was possible to know that freedom of expression is a right of each individual, but also that it is regulated for its expression publicly by the Organic Law of Communication, which requires reporters and social communicators to carry out a field investigation with the purpose of obtaining the precise facts to be able to announce a news, sometimes the facts are not corroborated, or have been restricted by regulatory entities in order to limit or restrict free expression, it is for this reason that The question arises that arises as an unknown to know and investigate if there is free expression in Ecuador and specifically in the canton. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso de estudio se determinará cómo se ejerce la libertad de expresión en el medio digital Contenido Ec, en el fortalecimiento de la democracia en la Ciudad de Babahoyo, es por eso que el tipo de investigación se emplea la bibliográfica, que permiten sacar información de fuentes confiables, de los criterios de expertos en la temática , también se empleó la investigación descriptiva, donde se realizará entrevistas a un periodista del medio digital como así también al jefe de la misma, para conocer el entorno de la libertad de expresión en el medio periodístico. Una vez concluidas las entrevistas se logró conocer que la libertad de expresión, es un derecho de cada individuo, pero también que se halla regularizada para su expresión de forma pública por la Ley Orgánica de Comunicación, lo que exige a los reporteros y comunicadores sociales a efectuar una investigación de campo con el propósito de conseguir los hechos precisos para poder anunciar una noticia, en ocasiones los hechos no son corroborados, o han sido restringidos por entes reguladores con el fin de limitar o restringir la libre expresión, es por esta razón que surge la duda que se plantea como incógnita para conocer e investigar si existe la libre expresión en el Ecuador y concretamente en el cantón. | es_ES |
