Covid-19 is and will be a pandemic that marked all of us who were part of that experience and that has changed the lifestyle of the entire world society and much more of highly affected countries such as Ecuador. The objective of this case study is to know how Ecuadorian journalism faced this situation, in which the analysis of its publications is sought to know how they reported these situations to society, being the population the one that had its sights set on each of printed newspapers or digital media. This is how we have now investigated news in the media such as: EL UNIVERSO and PRIMICIA, giving us the result of seeing the hard work that journalists did to bring to each of the readers what was happening at the beginning of this pandemic and / or with it. The case of patient Cero in Ecuador was fulfilling its main objective of informing society regardless of the circumstances that were experienced at that time.es_ES
