dc.descriptionThe present case study developed has allowed us to know in detail the problems faced by the “Ferretería Villacrés” due to the lack of an inventory control system. The correct administration of the inventories is fundamental in every company, and this is precisely the main weakness of the microenterprise studied; This affects the profitability caused by losses of the products, whether due to deterioration or expiration of the same. A point that cannot be ignored is the inventory rotation, with this it is known which are the products with the highest demand and which products are occupying space on the hanger or warehouse, generating losses in the same way, since that space can use for a higher turnover product. The inventory control system is a strategy used by the companies that lead the market, they have the most demanded products in their stock. One of the factors that negatively affect the inventory control system of the microenterprise is billing, from the study carried out it is known that sometimes invoices are filled out incorrectly and on other occasions invoices are not delivered to customers . In the development of the present case, it refers to the importance of inventories in the operation and efficiency of the company; These must be valued appropriately, thus knowing the actual amount of inventories that one owns. The most used method for the control and management of inventories is the use of the Kárdex Card, which facilitates the control of the movements of the products, recording their income, expenses and existing balances.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso desarrollado ha permitido conocer de forma pormenorizada la problemática que afronta la “Ferretería Villacrés” debido a la carencia de un sistema de control de inventarios. La correcta administración de los inventarios es fundamental en toda empresa, y es precisamente este la principal debilidad de la microempresa estudiada; aquello ocasiona afectación en la rentabilidad ocasionada por pérdidas de los productos ya se por deterioro o por caducidad de los mismos. Un punto que no se puede dejar de lado es la rotación del inventario, con ello se conoce cuáles son los productos con mayor demanda y cuáles productos están ocupando espacio en la percha o bodega, generando de igual manera pérdidas, por cuanto ese espacio se puede emplear para un producto de mayor rotación. El sistema de control de inventario es una estrategia utilizada por las empresas que lideran el mercado, ellas poseen en su stock los productos de mayor demanda. Uno de los factores que inciden de forma negativa en el sistema de control de inventario de la microempresa, es la facturación, del estudio realizado se conoce que algunas veces las facturas son llenadas de forma incorrecta y en otras ocasiones no se entregan facturas a los clientes. Se refiere en el desarrollo del presenta caso, la importancia que tienen los inventarios en la operatividad y eficiencia de la empresa; estos, deben ser valorados en forma apropiada, conociendo así la cantidad real de inventarios que se posee. El método más usado para el control y manejo de inventarios es el uso de la Tarjeta Kárdex, misma que facilita el control de los movimientos de los productos, registrándolos su ingreso, egreso y los saldos existentes.es_ES
