The impact caused by the pandemic of covid-19 in education in Ecuador has affected at first in the execution and completion of the school year of all students between 5 and 17 years of all regions of the country, forcing us to radically change the way in which classes were received, which are currently conducted virtually, this brings several challenges for both students and teachers, Since changing the process of teaching from face-to-face to virtual presents several drawbacks such as the fact that many students in the country do not have the necessary resources to access and maintain a virtual education, or the little computer knowledge of both students and teachers to use technological tools that allow them to develop their activities properly, which is why this case study focuses on investigating and publicizing what are the main technological tools that are currently being used in this model of virtual education in the country.es_ES
