Diabetes is a serious chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates the level of blood sugar or blood glucose) or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Hypertension is a deeply common persistent disease that is simultaneously a disease and a danger factor for other constant non-communicable infections, maintaining its potential for damage to target organs at any stage of life, nationality and sex. The general objective was to determine a nutritional diet adapted to the needs of the patient. An observacional, cross-sectional and descriptive methodology was Used to develop the clinical case. Because the clinical history, food anamnesis, clinical examination and biochemical tests were taken into account. The present case study is based on a 70-year-old female patient, diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus 2 and Arterial Hypertension, which shows elevated blood pressure (160/95 mm / hg), the nutritional diagnosis of bad habits is developed food evidenced by the increase in blood pressure. Finally, she makes a personalized eating plan, low sodium diet of 1800 Kcal / day, low in fat, high in fractionated fiber in 5 meals. The case study ends by improving the nutritional status and lifestyle since a personalized diet was used to meet the patient's needs.es_ES
