dc.descriptionThe present work as it is an analytical and bibliographic investigation that gathers information through web pages, scientific publications, magazine, etc. About everything related to the economy of organic cocoa in Ecuador, for which the main antecedents are presented first, as well as statistics related to the subject of study. Cocoa in past decades was one of the main crops that served as a livelihood for the families of small farmers, that is why now with organic cocoa farmers try to improve their economy in a more natural way. In Ecuador, cocoa is produced in two ways. The first is conventional, where chemical products are used, which in turn are considered harmful to the health of living beings and the environment; while the other form is the organic one that is named like this due to all those certifications that are obtained when producing, processing and marketing a product in a more natural way possible and that is resistant to diseases and that adapts to the climatic conditions of the This product is also considered a healthy and environmental product since no chemical products are used for its production and this thus prevents it from having a negative impact on the health and well-being of all living beings and the environment. In current times in Ecuador the Unocace is the one that is in charge of producing and marketing organic cocoa, taking into account that the provinces that produce the most organic cocoa in the country comes from the coastal region, likewise it can be said that Manabí is the province that produces the most organic cocoa nationwide and this product is considered the best internationally.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo al tratarse de una investigación analítica y bibliográfica que reúne información a través de páginas web, publicaciones científicas, revista, etc. Acerca de todo lo referente a la economía que presenta el cacao organico en el Ecuador para lo cual se presentan en primer lugar los principales antecedentes, así como estadísticas relacionadas al tema de estudio. El cacao en décadas pasadas era uno de los cultivos principales que servían como sustento de las familias de los pequeños agricultores, es por eso que ahora con el cacao organico los agricultores tratan de mejorar su economía de una manera más natural. En Ecuador se produce el cacao de dos formas la primera es la convencional en donde se utilizan productos de origen químicos que este a su vez es considerado como dañino para la salud de los seres vivos y para la del medio ambiente; mientras que la otra forma es la organico que es denominada así debido a todas aquellas certificaciones que se obtiene al producir, procesar y comercializar un producto de una manera más natural posible y que sea resistente a las enfermedades y que se adapte a las condiciones climáticas del país, también este producto se lo considera como un producto saludable y ambiental ya que no se usan productos de origen químico para su producción y este así evita que tenga un impacto negativo en la salud y bienestar de todos los seres vivos y el medio ambiente. En los tiempos actuales en el Ecuador la Unocace es aquella que se encarga de producir y comercializar el cacao organico teniendo en cuanta que las provincias que más producen cacao organico en el país proviene de la región costa, así mismo se puede decir que Manabí es la provincia que más produce cacao organico a nivel nacional y este producto es considerado el mejor a nivel internacional.es_ES
