| dc.description | The present case study that is developed corresponds to the topic: Strategies for the control of violence among students of the School of Basic Education "Margarita Valle Viuda de Palacio", of the Babahoyo canton, La Jagua province of Los Ríos, whose problem is to know how is the control of violence between students in said campus. The purpose of the study is to determine what types of strategies teachers use to control violence against their students, and thus also to know some types of strategies applied in schools and that help control violence. In the study, a descriptive and field methodology is applied; For data collection, surveys are applied to the teachers of the educational institution. The data obtained reflect that they do not apply strategies to prevent violence, but they do use conflict mediation to resolve and reach agreements when cases of violence have arisen. Some strategies are recommended such as cooperative and collaborative work, the establishment of clear rules of coexistence, talks and workshops that will help reduce the rates of violence in the educational establishment. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso de estudio que se desarrolla corresponde al tema: Estrategias para el control de la violencia entre estudiantes de la Escuela de Educación Básica “Margarita Valle Viuda de Palacio”, del cantón Babahoyo recinto La Jagua provincia de Los Ríos, cuya problemática es conocer cómo es el control de la violencia entre estudiantes en dicho plantel. El propósito del estudio es determinar qué tipos de estrategias usan los docentes para el control de la violencia de sus estudiantes, y así también conocer algunos tipos de estrategias aplicadas en las escuelas y que ayuden al control de la violencia. En el estudio se aplica una metodología de tipo descriptiva y de campo; para la recolección de datos se hace uso de encuestas aplicadas a los docentes de la institución educativa. Los datos obtenidos reflejan éstos no aplican estrategias para prevenir la violencia, pero si hacen uso de la mediación de conflictos para dar solución y llegar a acuerdos cuando los casos de violencia se han suscitado. Se recomienda algunas estrategias como el trabajo cooperativo y colaborativo, el establecimiento de reglas claras de convivencia, charlas y talleres que ayudarán a reducir los índices de violencia en el plantel educativo | es_ES |
