dc.descriptionThe case study was carried out in the San Agustin Campus located in the Dr. Camilo Ponce parish of the Babahoyo Canton of the Los Ríos Province - Ecuador, determining that the quality of the basic services available to the population of said sector does not They are of quality, since in recent years the population has presented diseases associated with the quality of the water supplied and the management of waste. 44% of the study population indicated that the water and sewerage services are of poor quality, where 64% indicate that the water they receive is piped, the collection of waste is poor in 61%. They also indicate that 36% of the population do not have drinking water directly from the public network since they obtain it by other means not mentioned, in the same way, 31% of the population stated that they have a public sewerage network in front of their properties, so they have another individual system of excreta disposal. The study was carried out under the qualitative-quantitative, inductive deductive methodology, with the collection of data that accepted the participation with the survey carried out and analyzing the situation of the objects under study. With the results of the study, it is proposed to improve the quality control of the basic services provided to the population, establishing a maintenance and expansion plan for the drinking water and sewerage system and specifying strategies that improve the collection of waste and that in turn once they succeed in satisfying users.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl estudio de caso se realizó en el Recinto San Agustin ubicado en la parroquia Dr. Camilo Ponce del Cantón Babahoyo de la Provincia de Los Ríos – Ecuador, determinando que la calidad de los servicios básicos con los que cuenta la población de dicho sector de no son de calidad, ya que en los últimos años la población ha presentado enfermedades asociadas a la calidad de agua que se suministra y el manejo de los desechos. El 44% de la población de estudio indico que los servicios de agua y alcantarillado son de mala calidad, donde el 64% indica que el agua que reciben es entubada, la recolección de desechos es mala en un 61%. También indican que el que 36% de la población no disponen de agua potable directamente de red pública ya que la obtienen por otros medios no mencionados, de igual manera el 31% de la población manifestó que cuenta con red pública de alcantarillado frente sus predios, por lo que tienen otro sistema individual de eliminación de excretas. El estudio se realizó bajo la metodología cuali-cuantitativo, inductivo deductivo, con la recolección de datos que aceptaron la participación con la encuesta realizada y analizando situación de los objetos en estudio. Con los resultados del estudio se propone mejorar el control de la calidad de los servicios básicos suministrados a la población, estableciendo un plan de mantenimiento y ampliación del sistema de agua potable, alcantarillado y puntualizar estrategias que mejoren la recolección de los desechos y que a su vez logren satisfacer a los usuarios.es_ES
